This Privacy Policy explains how Boozaglo Web Development (“I”, “me”, “my”), operated by Nissim Boozaglo in Oakland, CA, collects and uses information when you visit boozagloweb.com (the “Site”). I keep data collection to the minimum needed to respond to you.
Information I collect
Information you send me. When you use the contact form, I collect your name (optional), email address, the services you select, and your message. If you email or call me directly, I receive whatever you choose to share.
Technical information. Like most websites, the Site’s hosting server automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of your visit. This is used for security, spam prevention, and keeping the Site running.
How I use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and discuss a potential project
- To provide services you’ve asked for, if we work together
- To protect the Site from spam and abuse
I do not sell or rent your personal information, I do not use it for advertising, and I will not add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Service providers
A few trusted providers process data on my behalf, only as needed to run the Site:
- Hostinger hosts the Site and stores contact form submissions in the Site’s database.
- Google (Gmail) delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
- Google Fonts serves the Site’s typefaces; your browser connects to Google’s servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
Cookies
The Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses only what is needed for it to work:
- Cookie notice preference — a small value saved in your browser so the cookie notice doesn’t appear on every visit.
- WordPress login cookies — set only for site administrators when logged in.
You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. If I add analytics in the future, I’ll update this policy first.
How long I keep information
I keep contact form messages and related emails for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting project, then delete them when they’re no longer needed. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your rights (including California residents)
You may ask to see the personal information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what is collected and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Links to other sites
The portfolio links to websites I’ve built for clients. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
